Perhaps the most romantic place in Benalmádena is the park at the small church of Santo Domingo. The church was built in the 17th century on a rocky outcrop. The original structure has disappeared by the steady recovery, but this is inferior to the stunning beauty of this place today. On the glorious green space around the church there are numerous benches that invite you to a sunbath or have a comfortable place in the shade.
Down the hill you find the gardens “Jardines del Muro” that were designed by architect César Manrique.
